Terri Taber – Pastel Painting

Terri has been painting with pastels since 1998 when she first took a pastel class through Adult Education at Santa Barbara City College. She has always been enthralled with making marks on paper and earned her bachelor's degree in Art from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Terri has found that sticking to one medium has helped her become masterful, providing the freedom to push the pastels in different directions without feeling lost. She loves that pastels have such brilliant color and compact enough to transport easily, which allows her to paint en plein air. Terri is a Signature Member of the Pastel Society of the West Coast and an Associate member of the Pastel Society of America, and her paintings have been collected nationally and internationally.
