Patti Robins – Acrylic

Patti Robins owns a collection of vessels and fabrics that inspire her to create still-life compositions that are intensely dramatic. Patterns and rhythms, especially stripes and polka dots begin the tabletop dialogue. Local color, shapes and patterns are orchestrated to appeal to her compositional theory. Patti studies the shadows cast by the sun as she arranges objects. She prepares a quick sketch and begins to paint.
