The ocean is a powerful muse providing an endless source of inspiration. Patricia’s style is representational, utilizing a glazing technique of many thin layers of paint to create a translucent effect that provides depth and emanates light from her oils. During the process, she immerses herself in the environment, spending countless hours observing the subtle shifts of light and color throughout the day. These observations allow her to infuse authentic light that emotional depth into her paintings.

Terri Taber – Pastel Paintings

Terri has been painting with pastels since 1998, and has found that sticking to one medium has helped her become masterful, providing the freedom to push the pastels in different directions without feeling lost. She loves that pastels have such brilliant color and are compact enough to transport easily, which allows her to paint en plein air. Terri is a Signature Member of the Pastel Society of the West Coast and an Associate member of the Pastel Society of America, and her paintings have been collected nationally and internationally.
